"Manuel Agustín Landívar" museum

AZUAY-CUENCA

                                                Museum of site of interest in the history CUENCAA by the evidence of the passage of important cultures: Narrio Cañari and Inca. In 1972 some ruins were discovered of what was believed to be the first mill in the area, which has superposed elements of the Tomebamba. These vestiges, known as Molinos de Todos los Santos, are found in the back of the museum. In the halls of the museum, archaeological objects of pre-columbian cultures are exposed, as well as works from the colonial period. Temporary exhibitions are also presented.
